Ward Party...dancing? Dec 2011
Man I Do I have a story for you! Our branch had a Christmas party and Ghanians love to dance... and us missionaries went and had investigators come..... and .... (suspense!) The branch called us out and put us out in the middle of the dance floor.. which was outside the meeting house... us three missionaries in a line in Ghana Africa Mamponse branch christmas party waiting for them to play music. We were surrounded by the branch sitting in chairs eating their food. The speakers began to play some music... MICHAEL JACKSON BEAT IT!!! SO WE SLOWELY TURNED AROUND TO THE BEAT and started dancing! I went a little crazy and even ran to one side of the chairs raised my hands over my head and got that side to scream! WOOO!!! They screamed with me... and then I mooned walked away from that side and danced in front of another! Us three missionaries were dancing to Michael Jackson Beat it! I then did like a hook and double spin AND THEY BLEW UP in applause! HA HA it was fun! Ah.. so everyone now knows that I can dance.. HEHE. :)
Got my Christmas fuzzy socks!!! Dec 2011
Family: This past week was great! All the missionaries were able to come together to Accra and enjoy a Christmas conference together last Thursday. At the conference missionaries shared talents, bore testimonies, ate plenty of food and enjoyed social conversation about everything and anything. The following day, on Friday all of the missionaries in the mission around 130 were invited to eat and socialize at a members house. The members house was brother Ahaji, whom is a member of the quorum of the seventy. We enjoyed being there with all the missionaries eating a meal that overflowed our plates! During the week before the socializing etc. me and my companion did the regular route on not finding any real great success due to the holiday season. Also its the hot season here in Africa about to reach the dusty season. :) That's all for now, Elder Treu
